You may have heard in the news over the last few days about the OpenSSL Heartbleed Bug affecting UNIX servers. The bug basically enables a malicious entity to eavesdrop on SSL traffic and extract useful things like usernames and passwords (Yahoo apparently being badly affected).
Regarding the SSL services Zebedee provides, we can confirm they have not been affected as “Organisations that use Microsoft’s Internet Information Services (IIS) web server software would not have been affected.” – all of our SSL implementations are based on Microsoft IIS.
3rd party services like Google, Linked in, Facebook, Dropbox or websites hosted on Amazon may have been compromised so we advise you to check this list and update your passwords.
